In partnership with JLL
Reduction in workloads for JLL
With a user-intuitive interface, global footprint and 150 years of tax content expertise, Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE is a well-known global tax compliance technology solution.
However, in a crowded market with many similar offerings, how could we best showcase ONESOURCE’s many benefits, and also make it relevant to our key audience – global tax – leaders at big corporate organizations?
By interviewing a well-known global tax leader at a globally recognised firm, and showcasing how partnering with Thomson Reuters had helped him make a real impact within his business…
Kevin Escott
Senior Director of Program Management Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL)
A personal insight into how Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE technology is making a real impact for businesses, delivered as a video interview with a trusted partner – Kevin Escott, Senior Director of Program Management of global commercial real estate company Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).
Responsible for maintaining and updating JLL’s global ERP solution, which operates in over 50 countries, and compiles around 3000 tax returns annually, Kevin was the perfect spokesperson to explain how technology innovations can help not only handle large volumes of tax data, but also help businesses navigate the complexities of international tax regulations.
As the director of a large international business, Kevin was concerned that a lack of consistency across all regions meant that his organization, JLL, had to try and interpret local regulations and requirements on a piecemeal basis, risking the chance of misinterpretations, with minimal oversight and control which could lead to costly compliance errors.
According to Kevin, JLL needed to find the right partner to help guide the company through these regional challenges.
Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE’s user-intuitive interface, global footprint and tax content expertise, made it the obvious choice. With out of the box tools already in place to support in-country deployments, Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE was able to help the JLL tax team drive efficiencies and minimize the cost and effort of implementation almost immediately.
We created a relaxed, personal overview of what working with Thomson Reuters was really like by interviewing Kevin in the comfort of his own office - especially important since he was initially a bit nervous and apprehensive in being interviewed! The edit focused on the trusted partnership he had developed with Thomson Reuters, and how this had positively impacted his own business.
The original case study video was then used to help create a series of short-form social cuts that could be used on various platforms, to further amplify our message. In addition to the social cuts we created a written executive summary of the video extracting the key highlights from the interview and presenting them to the reader in a top-level recap asset.
Launched in both the US and EU markets covering OFTs, Gaggle Amp posts, and organic social posts, leading to a gated download, the video content generated active engagement across web and social:
